Green Cars
5-day Pass - Adult (age 12- ) 28,000yen / Child (age 6-11) 14,000yen
10-day Pass - Adult 44,800yen / Child 22,400yen
Flexible 4-day Pass - Adult 28,000yen / Child 14,000yen

Validity:
Unlimited use of JR East local trains, limited express trains, shinkansen trains. *This pass is not valid for the Tokaido Shinkansen and Sanyo Shinkansen trains since the shinkansen trains are operated by JR Central and JR West.
Eligibility:
Foreign tourists with the temporary visitor status of 15 days or 90 days.
Conditions:
Five-day passes are valid for 5 consecutive days.
Ten-day passes are valid for 10 consecutive days.
Flexible 4-day passes are valid for 4 consecutive days or 4 non-consecutive days within a month.
How to Obtain:
This pass can be purchased in Japan and overseas.
You can purchase an exchange order overseas at JR authorized agencies and exchange the order to a JR East Pass after entering Japan at major JR East stations. A pass must be issued within three months from the order was issued.
Online Booking
To purchase a JR East Pass in Japan, you must show your foreign passport and your return-trip ticket.
Note:
You can make seat reservations without additional payment. You need to reserve seats and receive reserved-seat tickets at JR stations/travel agencies before you take trains.
