Validity:
Unlimited use of JR Shinkansen trains (except Shinkansen Nozomi trains), JR limited express trains, JR express trains, JR local trains, JR local buses, some JR highway buses, and JR Miyajima ferry.Eligibility:
Foreign tourists with temporary visitor status which allows a stay of 15 or 90 days.Japanese nationals who are legal residents of foreign countries or who are married to a resident of a foreign country.
Conditions:
Only one person who signed the pass can use the pass.You should You need to carry your passport while you are traveling.
How to Obtain the Pass:
You must purchase an exchange order at JR authorized agencies overseas before you enter Japan. You can't purchase a Japan Rail Pass inside Japan.
After entering Japan, exchange the exchange order for a Japan Rail Pass at Japan Rail Pass exchange offices. You need to fill in an application form and must show your passport with your visa.
How to Get a Japan Rail Pass
