Shimogamo JinjaShimogamo Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Kyoto. It's inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List. There are over 50 structures, which are designated as Important Cultural Properties. Two main shrine buildings are designated as National Treasures. This shrine is also called Kamomioya jinja.
Aoi Festival is held by Shimogamo Shrine and Kamigamo Shrine in every May.
