Kamigamo JinjaThis shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Kyoto and is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Many shrine buildings are designated as Important Cultural Propereties or National Treasures. This shrine is also called as Kamowake-ikazuchi Jinja.
Aoi Matsuri, which is one of the most popular festivals in Kyoto is held by Kamigamo Shrine and Shimogamo Shrine in every May.
