Glover Garden

There are many Western-style buildings here, and the main attraction is the former Glover Residence, which is known as Japan's oldest wooden Western-style architecture. Enjoy the beautiful garden and a great view of Nagasaki Harbor.

Oura Catholic Church (Oura Tenshudo)

It's known as Japan's oldest wooden church.

Nagasaki Peace Park (Heiwa Koen)

Nagasaki Peace Park was built in the area where an atomic bomb was dropped in 1945. There are many peace monuments in the park, including the Peace Statue.

Nagasaki Genbaku Shiryokan (Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum)

It displays pictures and films which show scenes in Nagasaki after the atomic bombing. It's located in Nagasaki Peace Park.

Nagasaki Meganebashi (Spectacles Bridge)

It's known as Japan's first arch-shaped stone bridge.

Nagasaki Lantern Festival

It's usually held for two weeks from Chinese New Year.
This festival originated from Chinese New Year's celebrations in Nagasaki Chinatown and has become a large-scale festival in the whole city.  Colorful lanterns are displayed in various places in Nagasaki-city.

Nagasaki Kunchi

It's the annual fall festival of the Suwa Jinja shrine in Nagasaki. Nagasaki Kunchi is one of the three greatest Kunchi festivals. It usually takes place on October 7 to 9.
