Nikko is located in Tochigi prefecture, northeast of Tokyo. There are many historical sites in Nikko, including Futarasan-jinja Shrine, Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and Rinnouji Temple which are inscribed as UNESCO's World Heritage sites.
