Atomic Bomb Dome is located in Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima. It is one of buildings severely damaged by the atomic bombing in 1945. The ruins are preserved as a reminder of the tragic history. The building used to be Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. Atomic Bomb Dome is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List and is now a symbol of Hiroshima-city.
