Hitomi Soga, a former abductee by North Korea, her Amerian husband, Charles Jenkins, and their two daughters, Mika and Belinda, arrived in Japan on July 18th after staying in Indonesia for 10 days.

Because of Mr. Jenkins' health condition, they are staying at a hospital in Tokyo where Mr. Jenkins is to undergo medical examination and treatment. It's reported that he suffers from an aftereffect of a stomach operation, which was taken place in North Korea this year.

Since Mr. Jenkins arrived in Japan, it's expected that the United States might request custody of Mr. Jenkins over the desertion charges.
