Masako Owada who is a daughter of a Japanese diplomat married to Japan's Prince Naruhito on June 9, 1993. Princess Masako graduated from Harvard University in 1985 and had worked in Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs until her marriage. Princess Masako suffered from a miscarriage in December, 1999, but she gave birth to a baby girl who is named Aiko on December 1, 2001.
