This beautiful garden was built in 18th century on the coast. Hamarikyu means a detached palace on the coast in Japanese. The main feature of this garden is shioirinoike which is a tidal pond. There is a tea house located in the middle of the pond. Hamarikyu Garden is like an oasis on the Tokyo Bay. There are about 100 sakura trees here.
