July 10th is called "shimanrokusen-nichi" (46,000 days), and it's said that by the worship of Kannon Bosatsu (Goddess of Mercy) on this day, we are able to derive as much benefit as we derive from 126 years of worship. There are more than 250 stalls sell houzuki (ground cherry plants) and other traditional items set up in the Sensoji Temple. Asakusa houzuki-ichi is a nice event to enjoy the atmosphere of old Tokyo.
