Beer is one of the most popular alcohol beverages consumed in Japan. Beer is pronounced biiru and microbrewed beers are called ji-biiru in Japanese.  There are many small breweries produce a variety of beers throughout the country. Below is a list of fun places to drink beers.

Tokyo Beer Gardens

Open-air beer restaurants are open during the summer on rooftop or gardens of department stores, hotels, parks, and so on. 

Sapporo Bier Garten (Sapporo Biru-en)

There are several beer halls, Jingisukan restaurants, and more facilities in the area.

Ebisu Garden Place Beer Station
It's a nice beer restaurant in Tokyo. The headquarters of Sapporo Breweries and the Museum of Ebisu Beer are located in Ebibu Garden Place.

Nasu no Mori Biru-en

There are a large beer restaurant, a beer studio, souvenir shop, and more facilities.
