Autumn leaves are so beautiful in Japan. Fall Foliage is called "kouyou" in Japanese, and the kanji (Chinese characters) for "kouyou" means red leaves and also indicated Japanese maples (momiji). Kouyou can be viewed from late September to early December in various regions.
