The Michelin has released its first Tokyo hotel and restaurant guide on Nov. 19, 2007. The Michelin Guide Tokyo 2008
features 28 hotels and 150 restaurants in Tokyo. The 150 restaurants received 191 stars in total. Twenty five restaurants were given two stars, and eight restaurants listed below were given three stars. Three stars mean "exceptional
cuisine, worth a special journey," according to the Michelin.
