Moon Viewing Events 2011

From , former About.com Guide

Tsukimi is a Japanese tradition originated from China, which is to appreciate the moon on the night of August 15 of the lunar calendar. The moon on this night is referred to as "Jugoya (the night of 15th)" or "Chushu no meigetsu (great moon of mid-autumn)" in Japan. People view the mid-autumn moon quietly at home, gardens, shrines, temples, and so on. Below are some of moon viewing events in 2011.
