Kumamoto Castle

Kumamoto Castle was originally built about 400 years ago. Attractive features of this castle are the black and white donjon and the curved stone wall which is called mushagaeshi. There are about 800 sakura trees around the castle, and the cherry blossoms are illuminated at night.

Mochio Koen

Mocho Koen is located in Miyakonojo-city, Miyazaki. The road from the entrance of the park to the top of the hill is lined with sakura trees. It's like a tunnel of cherry blossoms.

Motobu Yaedake

Motobu Yaedake Cherry Blossom Festival in Okinawa is known as the earliest cherry blossom festival in Japan. Cherry blossoms here begin to bloom in January, and the Yaedake area is covered with pink flowers.

Nishi Koen

Nishi Koen is located on the hill near the Hakata Bay in Fukuoka-city. There are about 3,000 sakura trees in the park, and it's the best place for cherry blossoms in Fukuoka-city.

Ogi Koen

Ogi Koen is a symbol of Ogi-city, Saga. It's famous for the cherry blossoms and is one of the best places for cherry blosoms in Japan.

Oomura Koen

Oomura-zakura is a rare kind cherry blossom which is designated as a natural monument of Japan. Enjoy the pink and fluffy flowers. There are about 2,000 sakura trees in the park.
