Japanese Sakura

1. Goryokaku Koen

Goryokaku is a star-shaped fort which was built in 1866. There are more than 1,500 sakura trees in the park, and they are illuminated at night during the blooming season.

2. Matsumae Koen Park

Matsumae Koen is selected as one of the best places to see cherry blossoms in Japan. About 250 kinds of 10,000 sakura trees are here. Various sakura bloom in different times, so visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms for about a month.
