1. Tsuyama Kakuzan Koen

Kakuzan Koen Park is the ruins of the Tsuyama Castle. It's known for the long stone walls. Kakuzan Koen is one of the greatest places to see cherry blossom in the western Japan. There are more than 5,000 sakura trees. Paper lanterns are hung, and the stone walls are illuminated at night.

2. Matsue Jozan Koen

Matsue Jozan Koen is a park which surrounds the Matsue Castle in Shimane. There are more than 350 sakura trees in the park. The castle festival is held every year around the time when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The main castle tower is beautifully illuminated at night, and papar lanterns are hung in the park.

3. Tokiwa Koen

Tokiwa Koen is a large park located by Tokiwa Lake in Yamaguchi. It's a great place for kids to have fun and is also known as one of the best places to view cherry blossoms in Japan. There are about 3,500 sakura trees there.

4. Utsubuki Koen

Utsubuki Koen is a beautiful park located in Tottori. There are about 4,000 sakura trees in the park. Paper lanterns are hung, and cherry blossoms are illuminated at night.

5. Senkouji Koen

Senkoji Koen is located in the Senkojiyama mountain. It's a symbol of Onomichi-city, Hiroshima. It's known as one of the best places to view cherry blossoms in Japan.
