Cherry blossom viewing event in the Japan Mint Osaka is known as "sakura no touri nuke" and is the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Osaka. The cherry blossom lane from the north gate to the south gate is open to the public for a week in mid April when the flowers are in full bloom. Date: April 15 - 21, 2009
