Yokohama-city is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Port of Yokohama by holding the "EXPO Y150" from April 28 to September 27 in 2009. Most of the exhibitions and theater events take place in the Minato Mirai area. A 20m diameter balloon floats in the sky, and image projections on the balloon take place daily 7:25 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:35 p.m., and 9:10 p.m. Although you can enjoy many events for free, to enter the main areas, you need admission tickets.
