Tokyo Walk 2009:
Tokyo Walk 2009 is a series of five walking events designed to go around Tokyo's proposed venues for the 2016 Olympic Games and popular tourist attractions. They are non-competitive events open to everyone. Walkers can choose from 6 km, 11km, or 20 km courses each day.
1. Odaiba Area:
Date April 18, 2009
Entry Period: March 2 -27, 2009
Access: New Transit Yurikamome Line Daiba Station
Registration at Symbol Promenade Park (seaside park)
2. Yoyoki Park Area:
Date: May 23, 2009
Entry Period: - May 1, 2009
Access: JR Yamanote Line Harajuku Station Omotesando Exit
Registration at Yoyogi Koen Park
3. Asakusa Area:
Date: June 20, 2009
Entry Period: - May 29, 2009
Access Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Asakusa Station No.5 Exit / Toei Asakusa Line Asakusa Station No.4 Exit
Registration at Sumida Park
4. Tokyo Bay Area:
Date: July 18, 2009
Entry Period: - June 26, 2009
Access: Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line Tatsumi Station No.2 Exit

5 . Tokyo Imperial Palace Outer Garden Area:
Date: Sep 12, 2009
Entry Period: - August 21, 2009
Access Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line/ChiyodaLine Kasumigaseki Station B2 Exit / Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Hibiya Station A10 Exit
Registration att Hibiya Koen Park
Starting Time:
The 20 km courses start between 9 - 10 a.m.
The 11km and 6km courses start between 10 - 11 a.m.
Entry Fees :
Advanced Entries (for each event): 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for middle/high school children.
Entries on the Day of the Event: 1,000 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for middle/high school children.

*Free entry for adults aged 75 years and above and elementary children.
