Notes:
Kajo Koen is the ruins of Yamagata Castle, and old stone walls and moats remain there. The higashi-otemon gate was reproduced and became a main attraction. There are about 1,200 sakura trees in the park, and cherry blossoms are illuminated at night. The park is located in the center of the city, so it's easy to visit.
