Access:
To Chuo Koen Park: Take a streetcar bound for Shoukakuji-shita at Nagasakieki-mae Stop. Go to Tsukimachi Stop and transfer to a street car bound for Hotarujaya. Get off at Nigiwaibashi Stop.
To Minato Koen: Take a street car bound for Shogakuji-shita and get off at Tsukimachi Stop.

This festival originated from Chinese New Year's celebrations in Nagasaki Chinatown and has become a large-scale festival in the whole city. Over 15,000 colorful lanterns are decorated in various places in Nagasaki-city, and traditional Chinese performances such as dragon dances and Chinese acrobatic shows are held.
The main emperor's parades take place at 2 p.m. on January 31 and Fabruary 7. The route starts from Chuo Park and finishes at Minato Park.
