Hikone Castle Museum
Notes:
Hikone Castle is known as one of the best casltes in Japan. The donjon is a Japanese national treasure. The Ii family built it in 1607.
There are about 1,300 sakura trees around the castle. During the Hikonejo Cherry Blossom Festival, cherry blossoms are illuminated at night.
