Matsue Jozan Koen is a park which surrounds the Matsue Castle. There are more than 350 sakura trees in the park. The castle festival is held every year around the time when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
The main castle tower is beautifully illuminated at night, and papar lanterns are hung in the park.
