Fuji Five Lakes in Brief:

Fuji Five Lakes (Fuji-go-ko) is a picturesque area located around the north foot of mount Fuji. It can be accessed within a few hours from the center of Tokyo, and it's a popular tourist destination. Five lakes include Lake Yamanaka, Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Sai, Lake Shoji, and Lake Motosu, from east to west. Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi are more developed for tourists than other lakes. There are many Mt. Fuji viewing spots and tourist attractions in the area.

Lake Yamanaka:

It's the largest lake among Fuji five lakes and offers many lake activities, such as fishing, waterskiing, boardsailing and more. Lake Yamanaka Hanano Miyako Koen is a park situated next to Lake Yamanaka. Many kinds of flowers bloom at different times.

Lake Kawaguchi:

There are many inns, restaurants, and shops along the lake shore. Oishi Koen is a park located on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi and offers great views of Mt Fuji. Kawaguchiko Museum of Art is also a good place to visit.

Lake Sai:

Lake Sai is a small lake located west of Lake Kawaguchi. Aokigahara Forest is located near Lake Sai.

Lake Shoji:

Lake Shoji is the smallest lake among Fuji Five Lakes.

Lake Motosu:
