Ghibli Museum in Tokyo

The Studio Ghibli has been producing lots of Japanese animations. Some of them are films by a well-known director, Miyazaki Hayao: My neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and more.

Studio Ghibli Museum is located in the Mitaka Inokashira Park, Tokyo. The museum exhibits the process of making animations and presents short animation films. The arts and decorations inside the museum are colorful and fantastic. Both adults and children can have so much fun spending time in this museum.

  • Tickets: 1,000 yen for adults
    700 yen for children ages 13-18 years
    400 yen for children ages 7-12 years
    100 yen for children ages 4-6 years.
  • Access: Take JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku to Mitaka Station. Take a community bus to the museum from Mitaka Station South Exit.
  • Hours: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
