JR East Pass Special

If you are visiting Japan this fall and planning to travel by train for a few days, purchasing a JR East Pass Special can save you some money. The JR East Flexible 3-day Pass> costs 10,000 yen (age 12- ) or 5,000 yen (age 6-11) each. It's on sale now until mid November and can be used from September 1 to December 31, 2010. It can be purchased in Japan and overseas, but you must be a temporary foreign visitor to be eligible for this pass.
