2009 Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival

Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival Parade Kanazawa is the capital city of Ishikawa prefecture and is a popular tourist destination where visitors can enjoy the atomosphere of old Japan throughout the year. Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Matsuri is a big city festival which commemorates the entry of the lord, Maeda Toshiie, into Kanazawa castle in 1583. The annual festival is held on June 5-7, 2009. The main event is the Hakumangoku parade takes place on the 6th. It starts from Kanazawa Station area at 2:20 p.m. and goes to the Kanazawa Castle Park.
