Okinawa Hari 2009

Okinawa OceanHari or Hare are dragon boat races held throughout Okinawa. Okinawa hari are traditionally held on May 4th in the lunar calender, and it marks the beginning of Okinawa's summer season. Many dragon boat races take place on May 27 this year. Visit Okinawa for these exciting events.

Ciao Shizuko, is always nice travelling to Japan on a quarterly base….based on your suggestions!
Hope this time I can make it real.
I’m planning to visit Okinawa for one week in September or October. Is it still summer and I can enjoy these beautiful beaches or it is already too late?
