Where to Visit for Moon Viewing in Japan

Full Moon Japanese moon viewing custom on the night of August 15th (in the lunar calendar) is called tsukimi. People view the beautiful moon quietly at home, gardens, shrines, temples, and so on. Tsukimi this year falls on September 14th. For those of you who want to experience Japanese moon viewing, here are some places you can visit.
