What are Japan's UNESCO World Heritage Sites?

Okinawa Miyakojima Islands When you plan to visit Japan, you might wonder where you should visit. There are 14 World Heritage sites in Japan inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Visiting some of these places would be great experiences for you. The photo shows gasshozukuri-style houses with thatched roofs in Shirakawa Village in Gifu.
