Tanabata - Japanese Star Festival

Japanese TanabataTanabata is a traditional Japanese festival on July 7th (or August 8th). People write their wishes on colorful paper and hang them on bamboo branches. Sendai Tanabata and Hiratsuka Tanabata festivals are well-known. Many people visit the festivals to see colorful tanabata displays.
