Wednesday June 20, 2007
ajisai flowerMost regions in Japan are now in the rainy season called tsuyu. Japan's rainy season usually ends in middle July. Although it's gloomy during the rainy season, beautiful flowers are blooming. One of them is ajisai (hydrangea) which is a symbol of Japan's rainy season. Kamakura and Hakone are well-known for ajisai.
