Medicine in Japan

Sunday June 17, 2007
A member of Japan for Visitors forum asks, "I will be traveling from the United States to Japan. I have medicine that I must take every day. Can someone tell me what I have to take so I will be allowed to enter Japan with my medications? "
Suggestions?

take medicines in original prescription bottles…to be extra cautious have your
physician write prescription[s] that you can carry in addition to the bottles
…have been to Japan several times and have never had medicines questioned
