Visit Kyoto Gion Festival

Kyoto Yasaka ShrineKyoto Gion Matsuri is a festival of Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto. The festival begins on July 1st and ends on July 31st. The main event is Yamahoko-junko on the 17th. It's the parade of colorful floats through downtown Kyoto.
